Spider's Web costs 1 trinket slot - the cheapest item in the game - and it changes how your flaming vessel is aimed rather than how much damage it does. It has no upgrade tiers, so what you get on pickup is what you keep.
What Spider's Web does
| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Slot cost | 1 (lowest in the game) |
| Upgrade tiers | 0 - no workshop upgrades |
| In-game effect | Lets you slingshot a flaming vessel using the slingshot and special-attack controls |
That single line is the whole trinket: your thrown vessel becomes an aimed shot on the slingshot's arc instead of a straight throw. For 1 slot, it is the cheapest way to change your ranged options, and because the slot cost is so low you can leave it equipped without ever re-planning a build around it.
Because there are no upgrade tiers, there is also nothing to buy: no Workshop Token, no currency. See Well Dweller trinkets: effects, slots and upgrades for the full slot and upgrade table.
Where to get Spider's Web
Region: Midnight Drench, the dark-blue area on the map.
Abilities needed: Slingshot and Climb.
Room solution (Gamer Guides' description): slingshot the Matchstick through the bubbles in the eastern room, then bounce off the bubble that appears beneath the trinket.
Midnight Drench is also where Shrine of the Seven Sons sits, so if you are already there for the boss you can collect this on the same trip - see Well Dweller mid-game bosses.
Who should equip Spider's Web
The trinket is a control upgrade for a vessel-heavy build. It pairs with everything else that touches the flaming vessel, and those items are cheap on slots only if you commit:
- Bottle Cap (4 slots) - the vessel bounces before it explodes, and gains damage per bounce.
- Ember Vial (4 slots) - the vessel emits burning embers before it shatters.
- Paper Clip with String (5 slots) - vessel damage up, up to three tiers.
- Broken Bell (4 slots) - refills the vessel when a thrown vessel misses.
- Fish Hook (4 slots) - faster vessel refill at low health.
The honest limit: if you are not using the vessel, Spider's Web does nothing for you. It is 1 slot rather than 4 or 5, so keeping it equipped "just in case" is cheap - but it is still a slot that a damage or defence trinket could use.

Well Dweller Spider's Web FAQ
Where do you find Well Dweller Spider's Web?
In Midnight Drench, the dark-blue region, and it needs the Slingshot and Climb. The room solution is to slingshot the Matchstick through the bubbles on the eastern side, then bounce off the bubble that appears beneath the pickup.
How many slots does Well Dweller Spider's Web take?
1 slot - the cheapest item in the game. It also has no upgrade tiers, so nothing about it costs currency or Workshop Tokens.
Does Well Dweller Spider's Web add damage?
No. It changes how your flaming vessel is aimed, turning the throw into a slingshot shot. The damage comes from the vessel and the trinkets that modify it, not from Spider's Web itself.
