Well Dweller Silver Spoon: 6-Slot Heal Barrier Trinket

Silver Spoon costs 6 trinket slots, which puts it at the top of Well Dweller's slot budget alongside Silver Ring. It exists to solve one specific problem: healing under pressure, when the heal window is what kills you.

What Silver Spoon does

There is no upgrade path, so the effect you get on pickup is the effect you keep. That matters for the budget maths: 6 slots buys you a defensive timing window and nothing else, and it never improves.

The cheaper trinket that does the same job as Silver Spoon

This is the comparison worth making before you commit 6 slots. Hunter's Locket costs 4 slots and gives a larger timing window when attempting to heal. Both trinkets exist to stop a heal attempt turning into a death:

• Hunter's Locket (4 slots) makes the heal easier to land - more frames of input window.
• Silver Spoon (6 slots) leaves the window alone but makes you survive the attempt - a protective barrier while it resolves.

Two slots is a real difference: those two slots are the difference between running Spider's Web plus a 1-slot filler and not running them. If your problem is mistimed presses, the Locket is cheaper. If your problem is getting hit by a projectile you did not see while healing, the barrier is what you actually want.

Where to get Silver Spoon

Region: Desiccated Castle, the red area on the map.

Abilities needed: Slingshot and Climb.

Room solution (Gamer Guides' description): stand on the platform by the eastern exit and slingshot into the gear on the west side of the room. That retracts the platform blocking access to the trinket. Use the Slingshot again, this time on the grassy platform below, then ping up and climb the wall to reach it.

Is Silver Spoon worth 6 slots?

Take it if you are dying to chip damage during heals rather than to unfamiliar attack patterns, or you are on a platforming route where a knocked-back heal drops you into spikes.
